Die drei B

ORCHESTRA CONCERT

120 Minuten, eine Pause nach ca. 50 Minuten

The title and programming of the orchestral´s first concert brings to mind your inaugural concert in Orctober 2023, and that is probably intentional.
Rubén Dubrovsky: Yes, with the ‘Three Bs’ we want to establish a tradition for our orchestra, in a manner of speaking. A large part of the musical culture of the 19th and 20th centuries is based on the giants Bach and Beethoven. This time, the first part of the programme features a ‘Brandenburg Concerto’ and Beethoven's First - you can treat yourself to that much luxury during Advent!

The And another parallel to last year´s concert to last year´s concert: a Brahms symphony can be heard in the second part.
Rubén Dubrovsky: The symphonies of Johannes Brahms are a delight for the audience and a rewarding challenge for our orchestra. Since he didn't write an opera, his music is of course very rare in the repertoire of our theatre orchestra, but he strongly influenced later opera composers, for example Antonín Dvořák.
