The weekly Dancesoap from the Gärtnerplatz Theatre

First Performance

MINUTEMADE, "ready in a minute" – it sounds like massive time pressure, and it affects all the choreographers who want to add an episode to the Dancesoap that has been freshly created by our dance group. Though we do give them a bit more than a minute – by the same time the following week they need to have created a 30-minute piece that picks up exactly where the previous one stopped. Each performance consists of two episodes: the previous one and the latest sequel. Spontaneous creativity is essential, because the task each week, unremittingly, is: "One room. One week. 20 dancers."
