What is so special about the Gärtnerplatztheater's opera studio? See for yourself and look forward to an unconventional evening at Werk7 theatre. Under the motto "Fools of Love", we show how our opera studio differs from others: We place great emphasis on musical entertainment theatre, and so the palette of our young singers ranges from grand opera to operetta and chanson to musicals, from Mozart and Beethoven to Offenbach and Kurt Weill. Instead of a classical aria evening, you will experience what happens when four young talents meet with their dreams and hopes. Musical literature, its role categories and genders are played with in a way that is as amusing as it is sensual: Who goes into the chambre séparée with whom? What does the "Be a man" so often invoked in "The Magic Flute" mean? And can't the servant also sing the master's aria?
