Valentina Stadler
The mezzosoprano Valentina Stadler, from Karlsruhe, took her first singing lessons when she was just 13 years old. After studying singing at the Manhattan School of Music in New York and at the »Hanns Eisler« College of Music in Berlin, she sang the title role in a new version of Georges Bizetʼs »Carmen« at the Neuköllner Opera in Berlin in 2015, which was followed by engagements as, for example, La Marchande de Journaux in Poulencʼs »Les mamelles de Tirésias« at the IVAI Summer Academy in Tel Aviv and as Cherubino in Mozartʼs »Le nozze di Figaro« at the »Ópera Estudio« opera studio in Tenerife. For the opening of the 2015/2016 season, she appeared as a soloist in an opera gala in the Concert House in Berlin, followed by her house début at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna in the role of Cherubino (»Le nozze di Figaro«). In August 2016, she sang at the Salzburg Festival as Myrtale in Massenetʼs »Thaïs«. For the opening of the 2016/2017 season, she appeared as Mercedes in »Carmen« at the Opera House in Tenerife. Further she sang Engel (»Das Paradies und die Peri«) at the Beethovenfest Bonn and Gismonda (»Ottone«) at the Innsbrucker Festwochen along with song recitals with the pianist Daniel Heide.
Since 2017 she is member of the ensemble of the Gärtnerplatztheater and appeared there in roles like Nancy (»Martha«), Nanette (»Der Wildschütz«), Hänsel (»Hänsel und Gretel«), Dorabella (»Così fan tutte«) and Conceptión (»LʼHeure espagnole«) on the stage.
