Uwe Thomsen

Uwe Thomsen was born in Rottweil and studied acting at the Munich acting school »Actors in Motion« and the International Acting School in Rome. He made his debut at the Salzach Festival in 2005 in »Hexenjagd« and as a poor neighbour in »Jedermann«. Further engagements took him to the Junge Landestheater Bayern, the »Theater ... und so fort« and the »Theater Kopfüber« in Ansbach. In 2011, together with Thomas Schwendemann and Franziska Zawila, he founded the ensemble »Neue Bühne München«, which has since been at home in Munich’s independent theatre scene. In addition, Uwe Thomsen has appeared in various TV, cinema and short film productions and is repeatedly active as a dubbing artist for film, television and video games as well as a narrator for audio books. He was already on stage at the Gärtnerplatztheater in 2016 as Lageraufseher Krutow in »Viktoria und ihr Husar«.
