Til Ormeloh

Til Ormeloh, born in Viersen on the Lower Rhine, grew up in Münster, where he was already a member of the Junges Ensemble Münster at school.  There he received lessons in singing, dancing and acting at the Westphalian School of Music.  He appeared at Münster Theatre in musicals such as »Footloose« and »Little Shop of Horrors«, played John in »Brave New World« and Vincent Jones in »Street Scene« (director: Hendrik Müller). He also played Melchior Gabor in Duncan Sheiks »Spring Awakening«.

From 2020‒2024 he studied acting, singing and dance at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. While still a student, he played Romeo in »Romeo and Juliet« (director: Nele Schillo) in Bochum, as Cover Roger and in the ensemble in »Rent« (director: Gil Mehmert) at the Dortmund Opera and as Frederic Barrett in »Titanic« (director: Till Kleine-Möller) in Solingen and was a finalist in the MUT competition at the Gärtnerplatztheater.

After completing his studies, his first engagement took him to the Nuremberg State Theatre as Judas in »Jesus Christ Superstar« (director: Andreas Gergen). In 2024, he appeared as Ché in »Evita« (director: Solvejg Bauer) at the Schlossfestspiele Ettlingen and in »Woyzeck« (director: Manfred Weiß) at the Semperoper Dresden.
