Tanja Schön

After studying philosophy, theatre and literature in Munich, Tanja Schön was educated at the Abraxas Musical Academy in musical performance. During her education she started playing Columbia in the »Rocky Horror Show« as well as in »Fabian or the Gang in Front of the Dogs« in Ingolstadt. Her first engagement after graduation took her to »Moby Dick« at Amstetten Musical Summer where she also later played Sally Simpson in The Who’s »Tommy« and Peggy in »The Wild Party«. At Freiburg’s City Theatre she danced as Kit-Kat-Girl in »Cabaret«. After that, she found her way to Vienna where she played in the premiere of »Wake Up«. She played Serena Katz in »Fame« in St. Gallen and has in the meanwhile appeared on stage in Stuttgart, including as Sophie in »Mama Mia!«. There followed Baby and Lisa Houseman in »Dirty Dancing« in Hamburg and Berlin. After she then appeared as Donna in »Hair« in Kassel and Mannheim Tanja Schön returned to Hamburg for »I've never been to New York«. In the role of Mrs. Menzel she followed the play to Stuttgart where she likewise appeared in »Sister Act« as Michelle and as a nun. At the Stuttgart Play House she played in »Victor/Victoria« as well as at the Thunsee Festival in »Aida« where she returned in 2017 as Rumpleteazer in »Cats«. In addition she was seen for two years at Hamburg’s Theater am Hafen in »The Miracle of Berne«, including as Christa Lubanski and Annette Ackermann.
