Suzanne Taffot
The young soprano Suzanne Taffot is currently finishing her studies in singing at the University of Montreal under the direction of Adrienne Savoie and Louise-Andrée Baril. She has won several prizes at international competitions, including in 2015 the special prize at the International »Ricardo Zandonai« Contest in Italy and in 2014 the special prize at the »Concorso Internazionale per Cantanti Lyrici della Città di Alcamo« where she won the competition as the youngest finalist. In 2013 she interpreted the role of Lauretta in Giacomo Puccini’s »Gianni Schicchi« with the Atelier d’Opéra of the University of Montreal. She has additionally attended master courses, inter alia with Joan Dornemann, Paul Nadler, Laura Brooks Rice, Stanford Sylvan, Lena Hellström-Färnlöf and Liz Upchurch.
