Sae Kyung Rim

The soprano Sae Kyung Rim studied singing at Hanyang University in Seoul, at the Verdi Conservatory in Milan and at the Accademia of La Scala Milan. She is the winner of various international competitions such as the Vercelli-Giambattista-Viotti competition.

Her repertoire includes the title roles in Puccini's »Madama Butterfly« (Teatro Coccia di Novara) and »Tosca«, Fiordiligi in Mozart's »Così fan tutte« (La Scala Milan), Leonora in Verdi's »La forza del destino«, Amelia in Verdi's »Un ballo in maschera«, Margherita in Boito's »Mefistofele« and Madame Lidoine in Poulenc's »Les Dialogues des Carmélites«. She sang the title role in Verdi's »Aida« in Seoul and at Stadttheater Klagenfurt.

Various guest appearances have taken Sae Kyung Rim to the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, to the Teatro Verdi di Salerno and to Japan and Israel. The conductors with whom she has already worked include Myung-Whung Chung and Daniel Barenboim.
