Ricarda Regina Ludigkeit

Ricarda Regina Ludigkeit, from Berlin, works as a choreographer, director and dance teacher. Her choreographic work has taken her with pieces such as »Geschichten aus dem Wienerwald«, »Hello, Dolly!«, »Victor/Victoria«, »La Cage aux Folles«, »Johnny Johnson«, »Crazy for You« and »West Side Story« to venues as varied as the Volkstheater in Vienna, Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, the Dresden State Operetta, Berlin's Theater des Westens, the Theater in der Josefstadt, the St Gallen Theatre, the Mainz State Theatre, the Berne City Theatre, Graz Opera, Vienna's Volksoper and the Klagenfurt City Theatre.

She has worked continuously with Josef E. Köpplinger for many years, on productions such as »Dantons Tod« at the Vienna State Opera, »La Cenerentola« in Gelsenkirchen, Henzeʼs »L’Upupa« at the Hamburg State Opera, »Show Boat« at the Opéra du Rhin in Strasbourg, »Sweeney Todd« and »Jesus Christ Superstar« at Graz Opera and Klagenfurt City Theatre and »Anything Goes«, »Chitty Chitty Bang Bang«, »Singinʼ in the Rain«, »A Little Night Music« and »Jesus Christ Superstar« at Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz.

Her directing work includes »The Rocky Horror Show« at the Waldau Theatre in Bremen, »Fame« at Gelsenkirchenʼs Musiktheater im Revier and at Graz Opera, »Blutiger Honig« at the St Gallen Theatre and Klagenfurt City Theatre, »Sweet Charity« and »Xanadu« at the Bühne Baden, »Amerika« (co-directing with Bernd Liepold-Mosser) in Klagenfurt, »Das Ding mit dem Ring« at the Leipzig Musical Comedy, »Maria Stuarda« (co-directing with Michael Sturminger) and »Kifferwahn« (in cooperation with the August Everding Theatre Academy and Munich University of Theatre and Drama) at Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz and »Kiss me, Kate«, »Evita«, »My Fair Lady« and »Sweeney Todd« at the Theater Kiel. In addition, she has developed many projects for the Dare Motus Wien dance theatre, which she co-founded in 1996.
