Rachel Marshall

Rachel Marshall studied dance, singing and acting at the Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts in London. Her career began in 1998/1999 on the Royal Viking Sun’s World Cruise. For her professional career as musical performer Germany became her home for the next few years where she appeared, among others, as Bombalurina in »Cats« in Hamburg, Buffy in »Starlight Express« in Bochum and in the star role of Jessica Diamond at the premiere of »Miami Nights« in Düsseldorf and Vienna. A further highlight of her career thus far, after the London production of »Chicago«, was the main role as Penny Johnson in the European premiere of »Dirty Dancing«. Further engagements include »Cabaret« at the Wuppertal Opera House, »Chicago« at the Theater Bonn, »My Fair Lady« at the Bad Hersfeld Festival as well as »Miami Nights«, »Jesus Christ Superstar« and »Cats« at the Tecklenburg Outdoor Festival. Between 2012 and 2017 she played at the St. Gallen Theatre, among others in »Moses − The Ten Commandments«, »Chicago« and »Flashdance«. In addition, she has directed her own dance and musical theatre school. At the Gärtnerplatztheater, she appeared lastly in »Priscilla – Queen of The Desert«.
