Pier-Loup Lacour
Pier-Loup Lacour received his education as a dancer at École supérieure de ballet du Québec. From 2014 to 2018 he danced in companies like Les Ballets Jazz de Montréal and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in several choreographies, including those by George Ballanchine, Stephan Thoss, Christian Spuck, Mats Ek, Peter Quanz, Fernand Nault, Itzik Galili, Barak Marshall, Ihsan Rustem, Michel Fokine, Cristopher Wheeldon and Andonis Foniadakis. In addition to that, he could be seen in the productions »1001 Nights: The Last Chapter« by the company Les 7 Doigts de la main as well as »Vitori« and »Rebel« of Cirque du Soleil. Together with Alexander Hille, he studied Andonis Foniadakis’s »Cosmos« with Staatsballet Hannover. With the beginning of the 2020/2021 season he was admitted to the company of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz.
