Light design »Jean und Antonín«

Peter Harrison

Peter Harrison was trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London and worked initially at Welsh National Opera and the Royal Opera House Covent Garden.

He created many lighting designs for productions in London and throughout the UK, such as »Pink Mist« at the Bristol Old Vic, »Julius Caesar« with the Guildford Shakespeare Company, »Britten on Brooklyn« in the Wilton’s Music Hall and »Much Ado About Nothing« at the Ludlow Festival.

Peter Harrison works both in the field of operetta and opera (»Orpheus in the Underworld« at the Royal College of Music, »Paul Bunyan« at Welsh National Opera), and also for dance productions such as Michael Keegan-Dolan's »In Nocentes«, the choreographic football project »Home Turf« at Sadler’s Wells Theatre and productions at the Central School of Ballet and the London Studio Centre.

In addition, he has worked in London's West End (»King Charles III«, »The Orestia«, »Made in Dagenham«, »The Commitments«) and at the Royal National Theatre (»Collaborators« and »As You Like It«) and supported the opera production »Written on Skin« at the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and on its subsequent tour of Europe, including a performance in Munich's Prinzregententheater.
