Set and Costume Design
Pascal Seibicke
Pascal Seibicke studied stage and costume design in Munich with Katrin Brack and worked as an assistant at various theaters in Germany and abroad. From 2006 to 2009, he was also head of props at the Landestheater Oberpfalz. From 2011 to 2013, he worked as an assistant set designer at Theater Freiburg, where he made his debut in musical theatre. Since 2012, he has worked as a stage and costume designer at the Hamburg State Opera, Festspielhaus Baden-Baden, Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Staatstheater Darmstadt, MusikTheater an der Wien, Gothenburg Opera, Hanover State Opera, Gärtnerplatztheater, Mainfranken Theater Würzburg, Philharmonie Luxembourg, Theater und Orchester Heidelberg and many other theatres, where he has worked in music theatre with directors such as Cordula Däuper, Andrea Schwalbach, Dirk Schmeding, Alessandro Talevi, Tomo Sugao, Felix Schrödinger, in ballet/dance with Ricardo Fernando and Ivan Alboresi and in drama with Ronny Jakubaschk and Albrecht Schroeder. The production at Schauspiel Leipzig »zwei Herren von real madrid« was awarded the Nachspielpreis at the Heidelberg Stückemarkt in 2023. In 2015, he was among the finalists for the first Dutch Opera Design Award. He also won the Michael Schmid Peter Prize in 2009 with a screenplay for a short film. The costume design for Handel's »Alcina« is his first work at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz.
