Nico Schweers
Nico Schweers was born in Bonn and studied at the August Everding Bavarian Theatre Academy in Munich. Even before starting his studies, he appeared in musicals such as »Anything Goes«, »Der kleine Horrorladen« and as Bobby Child in »Crazy for You« at the Wiesbaden State Theatre.
During his studies, he played the role of Frank in the first performance of »Der Himmel über dem Bodensee« in Friedrichshafen, Jim Farrell in the first Austrian performance of »Titanic« at the Staatz Open-Air Theatre, Rex in »Hair« at the Augsburg Theatre and Quincey Morris in »Dracula« at the Pforzheim Theatre. In a coproduction between the Gärtnerplatztheater and the August Everding Bavarian Theatre Academy, he played the Lecturer in the musical »Kifferwahn«.
His studies were followed by engagements in the ensemble of the first German performance of »Roxy und ihr Wunderteam« at the Dortmund Theatre, as Swing in »Kiss me, Kate« at the Erfurt Theatre and as Hans Zeller in »The Sound of Music« at the Prinzregententheater in Munich.
