Soloist
Merlin Fargel received his training at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. He subsequently played Christian in »Cyrano« (Theater Bielefeld), d’Artagnan in »3 Musketiere« (Gandersheimer Domfestspiele), Bruno Lubanski and Paul Ackermann in »Das Wunder von Bern« (Theater an der Elbe Hamburg) as well as title roles in the tryout of »Goethe!« (Folkwang University) and in »Tarzan« (Metronom Theater Oberhausen). He has also was Frederick Fleet in »Titanic« and Berger in »Hair« (Bad Hersfeld Festival), Tony in »West Side Story« (Dortmund Opera), John in »Sherlock Holmes ‒ Next Generation« (Deutsches Theater Munich), Hero in »A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum« (Theater Bielefeld), Ché in »Evita« (Saarländisches Staatstheater Saarbrücken), Brad in »The Rocky Horror Show« (Landesbühnen Sachsen) and as Guy von Gisbourne and King John in »Robin Hood« (Schlosstheater Fulda). Most recently, he appeared on stage as Berger in Saarbrücken, in the title role in »Der Prinz von Preußen« at the Gerhard-Hauptmann-Theater Görlitz-Zittau and as Macky McPherson in Marc Schubring’s ans Wolfgang Adenberg’s »Der Mann, der Sherlock Holmes war« at the Theater Bielefeld.
