Meike Ebert

The video artist Meike Ebert, born in Munich, produced the video designs for numerous plays, operas and musical productions after studying film editing. She designed videos for Residenztheater in Munich, Schauspielhaus Bochum, Luxembourg's Grand Théâtre de la Ville, Theater Regensburg and Semperoper Dresden. At these theatres she collaborated, among others, with directors like Dieter Dorn, Tina Lanik, Amélie Niermeyer, Elmar Goerden, Wilfried Minks, Alexander Nerlich and Silviu Purcarete. After ten years as a permanent video artist at Residenztheater she moved to Gärtnerplatztheater in 2013. There she created the video design for »Semele«, »Bussi – Das Munical«, »Chitty Chitty Bang Bang« and »La sonnambula«.
