Matthias Schlüter

Matthias Schlüter completed his acting education at the Academy for the Performing Arts in Saarbrücken and debuted in 1990 as Edmund in Shakespeare's »King Lear« at the Municipal Theatre in Regensburg. Since then he has been seen in many roles in film and TV, including »Ein Fall für Zwei«, »Alarm for Cobra 11« and »Marienhof« and has additionally also appeared in musicals like »Grease« and »Fiddler on the Roof«. After further engagements at the municipal theatres of Regensburg and Bielefeld, at Saarbrücken State Theatre, at Grenzlandtheater in Aachen and Prinzregenttheater in Bochum he from 2008 to 2012 could be seen in various roles at Klagenfurt City Theatre, including in Peter Schaffer's »Amadeus«, Shakespeare's »A Midsummer Night's Dream« and Friedrich Schiller's »Die Räuber«. In 2013 Matthias Schlüter additionally made his debut at the Karl May Drama Festival in Elspe, where he embodies regularly the role of Sam Hawkins.
