Matthias Koch

Matthias Koch studied Stage and Costume Design at the Academy for Fine Arts in Dresden and was a permanent Equipment Assistant at the Stuttgart State Theatre from 2005 to 2008. In the 2008/2009 season, he was Equipment Manager at Schauspiel Stuttgart. He has worked as freelance stage and costume designer since 2009. He has worked, for example, at the Thalia Theatre Hamburg, at Theater Basel, at the Maxim Gorki Theatre Berlin, Stuttgart State Theatre and the Burgtheater in Vienna with such directors as Antú Romero Nunes, Hans-Werner Kroesinger, Alexander Nerlich, Ronny Jakubaschk, Eike Hannemann, Dorothea Schroeder and Nina Gühlstorff.
