Marta Jaén Garcia

Marta Jaén Garcia received her dance training at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza Fortea and the Víctor Ullate Dance School in Madrid as well as at the Centro Andaluz de Danza in Sevilla. She then danced in Blanca Li’s »Nana et Lila« and Fernando Hurtado’s »Monólogos«, among others. This was followed in 2010 by an engagement with Ballet Preljocaj, where she performed in Angelin Preljocaj’s choreography »Snow White«. In the 2010/2011 season she joined the TanzCompany Innsbruck and danced in choreographies by Enrique Gasa (»Georg Trakl«, »Beethoven«, »Carmen«), Stephan Thoss (»Boléro«), Yuki Mori (»Othello«) and Marco Goecke (»Sweet Sweet Sweet«). She has been a member of the ballet company of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz since 2013.
