Luciano Di Pasquale

The Italian bass-baritone Luciano Di Pasquale studied with Elio Battaglia and Regina Resnik. He has made a name for himself in particular in Mozart and Rossini roles, appearing in such cities as Rome, Florence, Milan, Trieste, Palermo, Bologna, Turin, Toulouse, Avignon, Lyon, Bordeaux, Nice and Toulon. More recent engagements have included Don Magnifico (»La Cenerentola«) at the Glyndebourne Festival and the New National Teatre Tokyo, Sagrestano (»Tosca«) at the Opéra National de Paris and Don Bartolo (»Il barbiere di Siviglia«) at the Opéra National de Bordeaux, the Opéra de Tours, the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Glyndebourne Festival. In addition, he has appeared at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Wexford Festival, the Kreml Theatre in Moscow, the Opéra de Lausanne, the La Monnaie opera house in Brussels and the Graz Opera House. Since 2008, Luciano Di Pasquale has also been the Artistic Director of the »ArteinCanto« Festival in Baschiano.

He has worked with such famous conductors as Zubin Mehta, Bruno Campanella, Vladimir Jurowski, Daniele Callegari and Gianluigi Gelmetti.
