Katharina Wollmann
Born in Austria, Katharina Wollmann took singing and dancing lessons when she was still a child. She studied »Musical« at the August Everding Theatre Academy 2015–2019. As part of her training, she was a member of the ensemble for the first performance in German of »Big Fish« at the Prinzregententheater and, in collaboration with the Orchestra of the Bayerischer Rundfunk, played the role of the Wicked Witch in »Der Zauberer von Oz«. In addition, she also presented her first chanson programme on the stage of the Akademiestudio and created the role of Sibylla jr. in the world premiere of »Herz aus Gold« at the Theater Augsburg. Further she played Hunyak (»Chicago«) at the Tiroler Landestheater Innsbruck and in »Cabaret« at the Volksoper Wien. In 2017, she reached the semi-finals of the Gärtnerplatztheater MUT competition and was a prize-winner of the German National Song Competition. At the Gärtnerplatztheater, Katharina Wollmann appeared in »Hair«, »My Fair Lady« and »Drei Männer im Schnee« as well as in the final presentation of the MUT Authorsʼ Competition 2016.
