Karin Bohnert

After completing her doctorate in German and art history in Stuttgart, Karin Bohnert worked as a music theatre dramaturge at Wuppertaler Bühnen from 2003-2010, as a senior music theatre dramaturge at Theater an der Wien from 2010-2022 and as a dramaturge and curator for the Johann Strauss 2025 festival in Vienna from 2022-2024. She taught practical dramaturgy at universities in Wuppertal and Vienna. Since the 2024/2025 season, she has been employed at the Gärtnerplatztheater as a music theatre dramaturge.
