Julia Edtmeier
Born in Linz, Julia Edtmeier completed a thorough dance training at the city's York Studios and later at the Centre de Danse du Marais in Paris, where she was able to gain her first stage experience early in her career.
This was followed by a number of championship titles in international dance competitions. In addition, she was involved in the TV productions »Mein Vater, meine Frau und meine Geliebte« and »Die Tänzerin«. While she was still training at the Performing Center in Vienna, she played in the Disney musicals »Camp Rock«, »Aladdin« and »Alice im Wunderland« in the Vienna Stadthalle. In addition, she also appeared in such productions as »Kiss me, Kate« (Kittsee Festival), the musical comedy »Voulez-Vous« (Theater Akzent), the operetta »Die Landstreicher« (Herbsttage Blindenmarkt festival) and »West Side Story« (Felsenbühne Staatz). In the prize-winning stage play »Villa Dolorosa« at the Burgtheater in Vienna, she played Olga. After completing her training, she performed in »Mamma Mia!« and »Jesus Christ Superstar« at the Raimund Theatre in Vienna.
Most recently, Julia Edtmeier appeared as Cécile de Volanges in a stage version of »Gefährliche Liebschaften« in Vienna.
