Judith Altmann

Judith Altmann was born in Bonn and was a child violin pupil at Robert Schumann Academy in Düsseldorf even before finishing secondary school. Subsequently, she studied sociology, psychology and musicology at Ludwig Maximilian University as well as drama at the August Everding Bavarian Theatre Academy in Munich and worked together with producers like Christof Nel (»Orlando Furioso«) and Lydia Steier »(La finta giardiniera«). In tandem with her studies she worked as a freelancer for the children's and young people's programme of Bayerische Staatsoper.

In 2010 she was brought to Gärtnerplatztheater as a theatre education specialist where she since the 2012/2013 season has been working as a music dramaturge.
