Joana Henrique-Jakobs

The Portuguese Joana Henrique-Jakobs completed her training at the Joop van den Ende Academy in Hamburg. After her training, she performed at the Theater am Potsdamer Platz in Berlin in the ensemble of »Mamma Mia!«, as a vocal soloist on the AIDA and in the Meistersaal Berlin in »Gaudi«. As Sarah in »Tanz der Vampire« she was on stage at the Palladium Theatre in Stuttgart as well as at the Theater des Westens in Berlin. She has also played Kim in »Show Boat« and in the ensemble of »Kiss me, Kate« and »My Fair Lady« at the Bad Hersfeld Festival, Consuelo in »West Side Story« at the Wuppertal Opera House, as Minnie Fay in »Hello, Dolly!« and in »On the Town« at the Theater St. Gallen, in »Les Misérables« at the Freilichtspiele Tecklenburg, in »Fame« at the Kiel Opera, in »Wahnsinn!« at the Duisburg Theater am Marientor and as Teenqueen, Understudy Teacher and Ozzy in »We Will Rock You« on tour. At the Gärtnerplatztheater she has performed in »Hair«, »Jesus Christ Superstar«, »On the Town« and »Chitty Chitty Bang Bang«.
