János Harót

János Harót comes from Budapest and studied at the Academy for Performing Arts in the Hungarian capital. After this, he appeared in a number of TV shows before joining the Hungarian boy band »B.Boys«, which released two albums and countless hit singles in Hungary.

In the 2003/2004 season, he worked with Peter Maffay on the production »Tabaluga und das verschenkte Glück«, with which he toured throughout Germany. In 2007, he was named Best Dance Presenter in Hungary, where he completed a large number of smaller projects and also worked as a choreographer. In 2008 he was part of the »We Will Rock You« ensemble in Cologne and subsequently travelled the world as a singer and dancer for AIDA Cruises for nearly two years. In 2010, he was appointed Assistant Dance Captain for »We Will Rock You« in the Netherlands and in 2011 was made Dance Captain for the Belgian production. Following this, he played Sonny in »Grease« on tours through Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

In the 2012/2013 season, János Harót was employed as Swing, Dance Captain and Assistant to Resident Director on the »We Will Rock You« productions in Basel und Essen. After this, he moved to Hamburg, where he was involved in »Linie S1 – Das Hamburg-Musical« directed by Ulrich Waller and Kim Duddy at the St. Pauli Theater Hamburg. Furthermore, he has appeared at the Deutsches Theater in Munich in »The Wiz« before working once again as Swing/Dance Captain and Assistant to Resident Director on the productions of »We Will Rock You« in Munich, Frankfurt, Vienna and Cologne in 2014/2015.
