Jana Baldovino

Jana Baldovino from New Zealand began her training as a dancer at the New Zealand School of Dance and subsequently graduated from Alegria Fulltime Ballet School in Australia as well as the Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance in Britain where she graduated in 2019. She has been given, among other things, the »Charlotte Kirkpatrick Award«, the »RAD Solo Seal Award« and the »Choreographic Award« at the »Genée International Ballet Competition« and has worked with choreographers like Paula Hunt, Paulina Quinteros, Mark Baldwin and Matthew Bourne and has danced in works like Rafael Bonachela’s »Linear Remains«, Shelley Moore’s »Burning«, Adrian Burnett’s »Concerto« and Bourne’s »Romeo and Juliette«, among others, at the Wellington Sadler Wells, Royal Albert Hall and on tour throughout Britain. Since the 2020/2021 season she has been a member of the ballet ensemble at Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz.
