Jakob Bogensperger

Jakob Bogensperger was born in Mariapfarr (Salzburg). He trained to become a lighting director at the Kammerspiele within Vienna's Theater in der Josefstadt, where he also worked as a lighting designer. Further engagements took him to the Rabenhof Theatre, the Volkstheater in Vienna (Hundsturm), to the Carinthian Summer in Villach and to the Graz Opera. Since the 2014/2015 season, he was Deputy Director of the Lighting Department at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz.
