Inho Jeong
Inho Jeong was born in Dae-jeon, South Korea, and graduated from the Opera Studio Professional Course at Korea National Opera in 2022. In 2017, he earned a Bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University College of Music and studied with Wonik-Choi, Suho Park and Attila Jun. Immediately following his training, he won the »Marmande Competition« in France, the »Riccardo Zandonai Competition« in Italy as well as the »Otto Edelmann Competition« and the »Feruccio Tagliavini Singing Competition« in Austria. He took 2nd place at the »Music Masters in Monte Carlo«. He also received the special prize at the »Tenor Viñas Competition« in Spain and two special prizes at the »Competizione dell’Opera« in Russia. He has also won various prestigious Korean competitions.
Inho Jeong has appeared on the opera stage as Carceriere in »Tosca« at the Chungmu Art Center, as Marches d’Obigny in »La traviata« at the Gangnam International Music Festival and in the title role in »Le nozze di Figaro« at SSWU’s Auditorium of Sungshin Women’s University. Concert appearances have taken him to the Seoul Arts Center and the Dae-jeon Arts Center as well as to Austria, France and Portugal. He has worked with conductors such as Marco Boemi, Sascha Goetzel, Vladimir Kiradjiev, Marius Burkert and Tugan Sokhiev and performed with orchestras such as the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra, the Monte-Carlo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Graz Philharmonic Orchestra, the MDW Philharmonic Orchestra, the Dae-jeon Philharmonic Orchestra, the Veneta Philharmonic Orchestra and the Prime Philharmonic Orchestra.
At the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz makes his German debut as Count von Walter in »Luisa Miller«.
