Kim Mira Meyer

Since the 2019/2020 season, Kim Mira Meyer has been under contract as a play director and assistant director with a play commitment at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, where she co-directed »Mozart muss sterben« in 2021, among other productions. The director and musician received her training in singing, dance and acting as a scholarship holder at the Performing Arts Studios Munich. In addition, she founded the association »Worte Spielen Noten e. V.« with producer Irina Frühwirth, for which both created stage adaptations of well-known children’s classics such as »The Snow Queen«, »Aladdin« or »Sherlock Holmes«. As managing director of the Münchner Momentbühne, she initiated various music theatre productions with international production partners, including the opera world premiere »Chief Hijangua« by Eslon Hindunu at the National Theatre Namibia, for which she is also responsible as director.
