Heiko Pfützner

Heiko Pfützner trained originally in machine and plant engineering. His career at the Gärtnerplatztheater started in 1994. He left Munich in 2001, working in such cities as Hamburg, Kassel and Heilbronn, before returning home again in 2013 as Technical Director. He started designing stage sets of his own in 2006 for Johannes Wieland and the Dance Theatre of the Kassel State Theatre, which was followed by work in the world of drama for Malte Kreutzfeldt (»Buddenbrooks«, »King Kong«) and Alejandro Quintana (»Faust«) at Heilbronn Theatre. At the Gärtnerplatztheater he was most recently responsible for »Undine – ein Traumballett« and »Mozart muss sterben«.
