Graciela Martínez

Graciela Martínez, born in Madrid, completed her dance training at the Real Escuela Profesional de Danza in her home city. Following this, she was awarded a bursary for the Ballet des Jeunes d’Europe and danced in the English National Ballet's »Swan Lake« and the Ballet of Ireland's »Les Sylphides«. In 2003, she was taken on by the Leipzig Ballet.

In 2004-2006, she danced with the ballet of the Opéra de Nice, then with the Basel Ballet and the Madrid Ballet. In 2009-2011, she was a member of the Italian Aterballetto company, when she worked with choreographers such as Uwe Scholz, Yuri Vamos, Jiří Kylián, Mauro Bigonzetti and Ohad Naharin. 2011 - 2015 she was an ensemble member of the ballet of Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz.
