Gjergji Meshaj

Gjergji Meshaj trained in classical and contemporary dance at Barbara Gatto’s dance school Arte Danza in Novara and danced with the Bagart Ballet Company from 2018 to 2021, where he performed in productions such as »Eppure è un uomo« and »Noi, il ritmo«. In 2019, he performed at Tanzart Ostwest in Gießen in a choreography by Barbara Gatto and won first prize in the Contemporary Senior category at the 2019 Tanzolymp International Dance Festival in Berlin. In 2022‒2023 he was part of the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company under Jacopo Godani and performed in his productions such as »Alter Ego«, »Hollow bones«, »Bach Off«, »Premonition of a Large Plan« and in Marco Goecke’s »Good old Moone«. He has been a member of the ballet corps of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz since 2023/2024.
