Georg Reischl

Apart from training with Rosa Hartlieb in Salzburg, Austrian-born Georg Reischl attended the ballet school of the Vienna State Opera. He started his dancing career with Liz King in Heidelberg and continued it in the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, where he also made his début as a choreographer. In 1999, Georg Reischl became a dancer with Ballett Frankfurt directed by William Forsythe. After this, he was a member for two years of »The Forsythe Company«, for which he worked until 2014 as a guest dancer in the work »Decreation«. In 1999, he became permanent guest choreographer of the Scapino Ballet before becoming its house choreographer. In addition, he created choreographies for Tanztheater Wien, Ballett Frankfurt, the Volksoper in Vienna, Kiel Theatre, Augsburg Theatre, the »abcDance Company« St. Pölten, for Tanz Luzerner Theater, Ballett Mainz und the »MichaelDouglas Kollektiv« in Cologne. He made his début at the Gärtnerplatztheater in 2013 as the choreographer of the dance soap »Minutemade«.
