Florian Wolf
Florian Wolf comes from Munich, where he studied at the Richard Strauss Conservatoire from 1982 to 1987. During his studies he appeared as a soloist in various productions by the academy, singing roles such as Pluto (»Orpheus in der Unterwelt«), the title role in »La clemenza di Tito« and Alfred (»Die Fledermaus«).
From 1983 to 1988, he was a member of the extra chorus of the Bayerische Staatsoper, and in 1985 he toured France and Italy with the Munich Collegium Musicum, when he sang the tenor solo in Pucciniʼs »Messa di Gloria«.
After an engagement as a soloist at the City Theatre Pforzheim (1988–1993), where he sang as Pedrillo (»Die Entführung aus dem Serail«), for example, in 1993 he returned as 1st chorus tenor to the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, where he also regularly appears in minor solo roles, for example in »Fidelio«, »Die lustige Witwe«, »Sweeney Todd«, »Im weißen Rössl« and »Der Bettelstudent«.
