Soloist
In 2003, Filippo Strocchi began his training at the Bernstein School of Musical Theatre in Bologna/Italy under the direction of Shawna Farrell, from which he graduated with distinction three years later. He then received a scholarship to the Guildford School of Acting in London. From 2006, he toured Italy for two seasons as Danny Zuko in »Grease« with the Compagnia della Rancia. He made his German debut in 2009 at the Palladium Theatre in Stuttgart as Cover Fiyero in the Stage Entertainment production of »Wicked«. He then returned to Italy to tour again as Link Larkin in »Hairspray«, Anthony in »Sweeney Todd«, Nick Hurley in »Flashdance«, Mercutio in »Romeo & Juliet« and Danny Zuko. He also appeared on stage as Ché in »Evita« in Rome and was once again part of the stage entertainment team at the Teatro Nazionale in Milan, this time as DJ Monty in »Saturday Night Fever«. He was also master of ceremonies and presenter of the irreverent, Spanish-inspired show »The Hole« at the Ciak Theatre in Milan.
Filippo Strocchi also played Rum Tum Tugger (»Cats«) in London’s West End and on tour in Europe. In Switzerland, he made his debut as Tony Manero in »Saturday Night Fever« on the Walensee stage in Walenstadt. He was then part of the 20th anniversary cast of »Tanz der Vampire« at the Ronacher Theatre in Vienna (Vereinigte Bühnen Wien), where he played Alternate Count von Krolock. He also interpreted Frederick Barrett (»Titanic«) and once again Tony Manero at the Ingolstadt City Theatre with the Městské divadlo Brno, Pontius Pilatus in a concert version of »Jesus Christ Superstar« at Vereinigte Bühnen Wien, Stacee Jaxx (»Rock of Ages«) and Riff-Raff (»The Rocky Horror Show«) at Musical Sommer Amstetten and Guido Contini (»Nine«) in Italy. From 2018 to 2023, he regularly appeared as the first cast member Count von Krolock in various productions of Stage Entertainment’s »Tanz der Vampire«, including at the Theater des Westens Berlin, the Metronom Theater Oberhausen and the Palladium Theatre Stuttgart. In 2024, he made his debut in the two leading male roles of Jean Valjean and Javert in »Les Misérables« at the St. Gallen Theatre and the Gärtnerplatztheater and played Athos in »3 Musketeers« at the Tecklenburg Open-Air Theatre.
