Filippo Pelacchi

Filippo Pelacchi was born in Florence and received his dance training at such centres as the Ecole du Centre Choréographique National with Carolyn Carlson in Roubaix/France. His first engagement took him in 2007 to the Ballet Junior de Genève, where he appeared on stage in productions created by such choreographers as Alexander Ekman (»Pulswork«), Stijn Celis (»The top of my head is not the top of the world«) and Thierry Malandain (»Boléro« and others). In 2008/2009 he danced in Benjamin Millepied's »Der Nussknacker« at the Ballet du Grand Théâtre de Genève, before moving to the Dutch ensemble »Introdans« in 2009, where he appeared, for example, in choreographies by Nacho Duato (»Por Vos Muero« and others), Cayetano Soto (»Fugaz«), Stijn Celis (»Les Noces«), Hans van Manen (»Compositie«), Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui (»In Memoriam«) and Lucinda Childs (»Chairman Dances« and others). Filippo Pelacchi was a member of the ballet of Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz from 2013 until 2015.
