Evita Komp began her dance training at the New York City Dance School in Stuttgart. She completed her musical training at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, graduating with distinction. As a performer, she has appeared as Cinderella (»Into the Woods«) and Anna Golde (»Hexen«) at the Neue Studiobühne Wien, Katharina (»Pippin«) at the Interkulttheater Wien, in the world premiere of Eric Woolfson’s »Poe« and as Chava (»Fiddler on the Roof«) at the Opernhaus Halle and as Cosette (»Les Misérables«) at the Thunerseespiele. At the Schlosstheater Fulda she appeared as Saint Catherine in »Die The Päpstin« and in »Kolpings Traum«. At the Musikalische Komödie Leipzig she appeared as Tess (»Crazy for You«), at the Kiel Opera she embodied Ermengarde and Minnie Fay (»Hello, Dolly!«), Olga (»An American in Paris«), Chava and played in the ensemble of »Kiss me, Kate«. She made guest appearances at the St. Gallen Theatre as Mrs. Rose (»Hello, Dolly›«) and Mizzi (»On the Town«), at the Dortmund Opera and the Nuremberg State Theatre in »Funny Girl« and at the Baden Theatre in »Grand Hotel«. At the Shanghai guest performance of Vereinigte Bühnen Wien she took on the role of Aloysia Weber in »Mozart!«. At the Gärtnerplatztheater, she appeared as Violet in »Chitty Chitty Bang Bang«, Julie in »Gefährliche Liebschaften« and in the ensemble of »Singin’ in the Rain«, »Candide«, »Jesus Christ Superstar«, »On the Town«, »Tootsie« and »My Fair Lady«
