Eva Zamostny

Born in Vienna, Eva Zamostny trained in dance, singing and drama at the Performing Arts Studios Vienna and in a large number of advanced courses in the areas of Afro, Dancehall, Samba, Salsa, Jazz, Zouk and Modern at dance studios in cities from Los Angeles and Melbourne to Rio de Janeiro.

In musicals and operettas, she has performed in such roles as Julie in »Moulin Rouge« at the Altes Schauspielhaus Stuttgart, Velma in »West Side Story« at the Klagenfurt City Theatre, Belle in »Die Schöne und das Biest« and Dorothy in »Der Zauberer von Oz«, as Jou-Jou in »Die lustige Witwe« at the Vienna Operetta Summer, the Solo Soprano in »Frankenstein« at Vereinigte Bühnen Wien and most recently as Swing/understudy for Lisa in »Mamma Mia!« in Stuttgart and Berlin and Kit-Kat girl Trixi in »Cabaret« at the Bad Hersfeld Festival.

Since 2010, she has also worked as a choreographer and dancer in the areas of film and television. She was, for example, the chief choreographer in the ORF/ZDF productions »Die kleine Lady« and »Meine Tochter, ihr Freund und ich«.

Away from the stage, Eva Zamostny has also been the director for many years of the Children's Musical Company of the Performing Center Austria and regularly gives musical workshops at various dance schools and secondary schools in Germany and Austria.
