Eva Aasgaard

Born in Norway, Eva Aasgaard completed her training at the Norwegian University of Music in Oslo, graduating with a master's degree in music. Further song and drama studies took her to Munich, Hamburg, Nuremberg and Copenhagen.

After her first role in a musical in Oslo, she came to Germany in 2001. In the German-speaking world, she has appeared to date in such roles as Princess Sophie in the musical »Ludwig II. – Sehnsucht nach dem Paradies« in the Füssen Festival Theatre, as Ellen in »Miss Saigon« at the St. Gallen Theatre, as Maria in »West Side Story« at Kassel State Theatre, as Jellylorum/Griddlebone and Grizabella in the German touring production of »Cats«, as Hedwig in the musical »Heidi« at the Walensee-Bühne in Walenstadt, as Cosette in »Les Misérables« in St. Gallen and at the Bad Hersfeld Festival, as Anna in »Das Feuerwerk« at Essen's Aalto-Theater, as Lisa in »Jekyll & Hyde« at the Bad Vilbel Castle Festival and Pforzheim Theatre and in the title role of »Evita« at Plauen-Zwickau Theatre.

In addition to her theatre engagements, this versatile artist also works on a freelance basis as a narrator and translator and is involved in both concerts and film and television productions.
