Emily Yetta Wohl

Born in New Jersey, USA, Emily Yetta Wohl studied at Princeton University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in molecular biology and a diploma in dance, as well as various awards for special achievements. In the years that followed, she participated in numerous intensive programmes such as Nederlands Dans Theater, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago and Springboard Danse Montréal, where she not only danced but also served as an assistant artistic director. In 2018 she joined Hubbard Street Dance Chicago as an apprentice, and in 2019 she was hired as a principal dancer at Staatstheater Augsburg. She has been part of the Gärtnerplatztheater company since the 2022/2023 season.
