Ella Tyran
The Austrian soprano Ella Tyran studied at the Conservatory of the City of Vienna. She has won many international competitions such as the Concorso Ferrucio Tagliavini.
Most recently, she was a member of the ensemble of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, where she played roles such as Madeline in »Der Untergang des Hauses Usher«, Edronica in »Der geduldige Socrates«, Adele in »Die Fledermaus«, Elvira in »L’italiana in Algeri« and Nanetta in »Falstaff«. Other engagements have taken her to such venues as the Teatro Pergolesi, the Cluj Opera, Opera Tampa in Florida, and to other theatres in China and Japan.
Her repertoire also includes Mimi and Musetta in »La bohème«, Liu in »Turandot«, Nedda in »Pagliacci«, Micaëla in »Carmen«, Donna Elvira in »Don Giovanni« and Leonora in »Il trovatore«.
