Corinna Ellwanger
Corinna Ellwanger studied singing, acting and dance at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy University of Music and Drama in Leipzig. While she was still a student, she was a prize-winner twice over at the National Singing Competition in Berlin and appeared in several theatrical productions such as »Der kleine Horrorladen« at Chemnitz Theatre and at the Jagsthausen Castle Festival. She also appeared in »Wochenend und Sonnenschein« in Stuttgart's Komödie im Marquardt and in several productions at the Musikalische Komödie in Leipzig, including »Hello, Dolly!« and »Heidi«.
After graduating, she made guest appearances in roles such as Lisa (»Jekyll & Hyde«) at the Nordhausen Theatre, at the Musikalische Komödie in Leipzig and the Dresden State Operetta. In addition, she played Rose Bertin (»Marie Antoinette«) at the Tecklenburg Open-Air Festival and Janet (»The Rocky Horror Show«) at the Saarbrücken State Theatre and at the Kammertheater in Karlsruhe.
She made her debut at the Gärtnerplatztheater in the first continental performance of »Chitty Chitty Bang Bang«.
