Christina Patten

Christina Patten is a graduate of the »Musical/Show« course at Berlin University of the Arts and was a prize-winner in the 2009 National Singing Competition in the Musicals class. In 2011, at the finals of the 1st International Sylvester Levay Competition, she was invited by the composer himself to audition and was then engaged for his musical »Rebecca« in Stuttgart as Clarice and as the understudy for the main role of Ich. Following this, she appeared on stage at the Magdeburg Domplatz Open-Air Festival in 2013 as Eponine in »Les Misérables«. She played Little Red Riding Hood in »Into the Woods« directed by Ulrich Wiggers at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen, and returned to the Magdeburg Domplatz Open-Air Festival in 2014 and 2015 as Columbia in »The Rocky Horror Show«. In 2014, she played the part of the young Bonnie in the first German-language performance of the musical »Bonnie & Clyde« at the Bielefeld Theatre. Alongside her engagements in the theatre, Christina Patten has organised her own concerts and programmes for years. She is making her début at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz as Jeanie in »Hair«.
