Christian Schleinzer

Christian Schleinzer grew up in the Hochschwarzwald region. He graduated from the Stage School Hamburg with distinction. While he was still studying, he appeared at the Hamburg Schauspielhaus in »Die kleine Meerjungfrau« and then made guest appearances at various theatres in Germany and Austria, playing in a variety of roles in productions such as »Anything Goes« and »Singin’ in the Rain« at Graz Opera, »Les Misérables« at the Bad Hersfeld Festival, »La Cage aux Folles« and »Hair« at Vereinigte Bühnen Bozen, »Gräfin Mariza«, »Cinderella«, »Jesus Christ Superstar«, »Sommernachtstraum«, »Sweeney Todd«, »My Fair Lady« and »West Side Story« at the Klagenfurt City Theatre and »Hello, Dolly!« und »Kiss me, Kate« at the Volksoper in Vienna. At the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, where he is member of the ensemble since the season 2017/2018, he has appeared among others in »Gefährliche Liebschaften«, »Chitty Chitty Bang Bang«, »Singin’ in the Rain«, »My Fair Lady«, »Drei Männer im Schnee« and in the title role of »Pumuckl«.
