Benjamin Sommerfeld

Benjamin Sommerfeld, who comes from Magdeburg, studied to be an actor in musicals at Berlin University of the Arts, graduating with distinction in 2011. Even before he started his studies, he appeared on stage at the Theater der Altmark Stendal (»Honk!«) and Magdeburg Theatre (»Fame« und »Hair«).

He was also involved in the development of the musical »Hermann – Der Matrose« directed by Ulrich Wiggers and played the role of Jean in this. His engagements include »One Touch of Venus« in Dessau, »Ein Herz sucht einen Parkplatz«, Joschi in »Mein Avatar und ich« and Peter Schlönzke in Hape Kerkeling's »Kein Pardon«. Most recently, he appeared in »Natürlich Blond« as Lowell and Emmett Forrest in the Ronacher in Vienna and in roles including Sky in »Mamma Mia!« in the Raimund Theatre.
