Artem Golubev
The Russian tenor Artem Golubev received singing training at the Dostoevsky State University in Omsk and as part of a two-year master class course at the Paata Burchuladze VocalArts Center in Omsk. In his homeland, he has sung such roles as Alfredo (»La traviata«) at the Mikhailovsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Czarevitch Guidon (»Das Märchen vom Zaren Saltan«) and Lenski (»Eugen Onegin«) at the Mariinsky Theatre Vladivostok and the title role in »Faust« at Moscow’s Bolshoi Theatre. In addition, he has appeared on stage as Vladimir Igorevich (»Fürst Igor«) at the Hamburg State Opera, Villager (Prokofiev’s »Semjon Kotko«) in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam under Vladimir Jurowski, Don José (»Carmen«) in the Nur-Sultan Opera House in Kazakhstan and Mario Cavaradossi (»Tosca«) at the Ópera Nacional de Chile in Santiago. In addition to countless Russian operas, his repertoire includes in particular the works of Verdi and Puccini. Artem Golubev is making his debut at the Gärtnerplatztheater in 2019 as Mario Cavaradossi.
