Ariella Casu

Ariella Casu was born in the USA and studied jazz dance, ballet, musical and step dance at the Broadway Dance Studio in New York. She participated in a number of workshops, with Mauro Bigonzetti, Eugenio Scigliano and Mauro Astolfi, among others. A bursary then took her to the Musica Arte e Spettacolo school in Milan.

In 2008, she danced with the »KitonB« dance project and in 2010 in Ismael Ivo's »Oxigen« at the Biennale in Venice. In 2011, Karl Alfred Schreiner engaged her for Stadttheater Klagenfurt, where she appeared on stage in »Der Nussknacker«, »My Fair Lady« and »West Side Story«. She was a member of the ballet of Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz from 2012/2013 till 2016/2017.
