Antonia Welke

Antonia Welke was born in Berlin. Even before her studies at the August Everding Bavarian Theatre Academy, she gained experience in a number of musical productions. Among these, she played Lisel in the first German performance of »The Sound of Music« and was a member of the youth ensemble of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, appearing as Ariel in »Footlose«. In 2009, she attended the Abraxas Musical Academy and then changed in 2010 to the Bavarian Theatre Academy. As part of her studies of the musical, she appeared in Offenbach's/Hack's »Die schöne Helena« and in the drama »4.48 Psychose« by Sarah Kane. In summer, she was a guest in the open-air production of »Hair« at the Augsburg Theatre. She played the Pianist in the ARD telenovela »Sturm der Liebe«.
